This is the only village in the World clincher All His Women Headed Long

The Chinese woman had taken off her long hair to create a Guinness World Record for being the latest, the first village in the world long hair.

The Red Yao women do, Huangluo Yao ethnic minority groups from villages in China, has an average hair length of 5.5 meters. The longest hair of more than 6.8 meters.

Remarkably, the women cut their hair only once in their lives, at 16-years-old, before they begin their search for a husband.

Her hair is considered so sacred. Only the husband or children who can look at their hair, if one man happened to stumble upon a woman does not wear hijab, she was forced to live with his family for three years as their son-in-law.

Their hair, an ancient tradition, can only be opened in front of close family but the women began to leave the tradition in 1987.

A total of 120 women proudly showing off their heads with long hair in their village. They are known throughout China as the "village of long hair.

While many women would be daunted by the task of managing this long hair, hairstyling Red Yao women make it look easy as they twist and wrap their manes, flicking it as they go.

Red Yao people believe that long hair woman brings longevity, wealth and luck. During the months of summer and autumn, the women wash their hair at the Jinjiang River.
