Life is Good!

I have been horrible with trying to blog this past month. I do however, have a great explanation. I am working non-stop and finishing up the last part of my schooling. It is going to be a busy time until fall.

I have only been at my job a handful of weeks and already received a promotion. I am going to now be a med tech which will include more one on one with doctors and patients about their gastric procedures they will be having. I find the talk of the staff at a gastric office a bit comical at times.

As I will be taking on this new role I also have 6.5 credit hours of course work this summer. This course work may also lead to another role in the office for myself. It is very rewarding and overwhelming at the same time. I must not complain though because just a few months ago this is only where I could imagine being.

I also already have my whole summer just about booked with trips, concerts, and babysitting, along with days of mounds and mounds of medical coding.

The best part being said on St. Pat's day was truly my lucky day. This is the day where things weren't going so great and some how I decided to go golfing with Matt and his friend Jason. I never go golfing but my plans fell through and the rest was history. St Pat's day is really my day for sure now! Jason has been nothing but Mr. Wonderful and things are going very well.

It may have taken a lot of trials and tribulation to get to where I am at, but Life is Good:)

Where have I been?!

I have been incredibly busy with my new job, school, and the new bf. I want to blog, but I see others doing it and I just can't become as creative with my post. I will post when I feel like I have something decent to share that people will really want to read or a new recipe or running updates. Boring, I know!!! Happy Blogging to all!

Blah!

I know I have not had any exciting or interesting post lately! I have been busy with starting my new job that I absolutely love!

I am now working full time at a gastroenterologist office as a receptionist, biller, and clinical person. This is everything I have been working for and it seems like the perfect fit. The doctors are wonderful and the staff is a lot of fun. I am excited to learn all about the world of gastroenterology!

I took off Thursday and Friday to celebrate St Patrick's day and went bar hopping. To be honest that was the first time I have ever done that. I didn't even do that back when I was at NIU! Green beer and corned beef and cabbage, fun times to be had by all~

Yesterday, I went on a hike at Starved Rock what a nice day and great workout! The stairs alone gave me a burn. I can't wait to be getting outside more for some good workouts!

Happy Spring to all!

What's the Rumpus?!

I got a new job and a new man!

It's about time things start going my way. I was getting so down on myself and ready to call it quits and move back in with my parents. It's not always the best situation living with your ex trying to date and not having a decent job to be able to move out!

Yesterday I got a phone call from the place I was hoping. I am going to be working for 2 Gastroenterologist doctors and a general family practice doctor. I am very excited. I love this kind of work and the added benefits to the job makes it even that much better.

I also have been seeing someone for about a month now and feel very confident in our new journey. I have never been set up by someone to meet a guy, but I tried it with some hesitancy and now I am happy I did. I am sure there will be more post to come about the new man:)

Happy Wednesday!

Happy Birthday to me!

Today is my 29th birthday! How time passes you by. I can't believe all the things I have got to do and see and still yet many more things to experience.

Last year I started to freak when I turned 28 because it was closer to the BIG 30, and now I am even a little more scared. I hope to make this a great year and find most of everything I am longing for. I have started running, which is something I loved more then I did before and still searching for that perfect job everyday. In between all that maybe my prince will come along when I least expect it.

Here is to me, and making 29 the best year of all!

What do you want to see?

I haven't had much things going on lately except the usual job hunting and school work. Depressed because I don't have money to go on a vacation....

What type of post do you want to see on my blog? Let me know of ideas! I am not a creative or artistic person. Help me generate some ideas. What do you like to blog about?

Super B saves the day!

A couple of years ago I went to get my yearly female check-up. I know fun times right?! Not!

I admit I put it off till I freak out that something might be wrong and I better go before I die. I made my appointment and I began talking to the midwife I go to. I told her I have been feeling run down I can't seem to make it through the day without taking a nap. I know that I put on weight and that didn't help. She advised me to start taking a Super B Complex Vitamin.

I started taking this and after a few weeks I did see a bit of improvement. I also took my daily multi vitamin and some other supplements here and there if I felt the need or urge. However, that past 6months to year I have not taken it like I was and I can tell a huge difference at this point.

I was watching Dr. Oz this week and the vitamins he said all women should be taking are:

1. Multi Vitamin

2. Super B Complex

3. Calcium

4. Vitamin D

Now I see this Super B all over and pushed by lots of people. Along with my running I need to make this part of my routine again with my other supplements. This does work and it helps keep you energized and turns your food into fuel, also helping with my weight loss. Take this in the morning, not at night. It kept me up like a cup of pure caffeine! ( I made that mistake at first because multi vitamins make me sick to my stomach so I take it at night to help reduce that nauseous feeling.)

I did get on the scale the other day and ALL of my pants have been slipping off of me, 15lbs lighter then I was last year, I guess that explains it!

Give this supplement a try and let me know what you think.

* FYI your urine will be bright yellow, no alarm its normal!
